umm... countdown over... obviously

lol... it's been a while, huh? ok, i guess i should post that the honolulu fun walk was AWESOME and i'm so proud of myself even though 7 miles really isn't that much of a feat to walk. i think i was being really competitive with myself. i did a little over an hour and a half, which isn't bad considering how many people were there... the marathon itself had 16,000 competitors. my brother, the athlete he is, finished the race in 5 hrs and 4 minutes... he's 34 right now, so i have a good 6 years before i should be able to complete a 27 mile run. :-P

but until then, fun runs and walks it is! shall we start the countdown again? i'm probably going to do the revlon run-walk for women in the fall. i did it once in 1999, so this would be a nice little return to the new york city circuit for me.
